Community Power: Renewable Energy

A Community Development of distributed renewable and sustainable energy is invariably the ideal base system for Community Power.

Real Community Power and RE development happens only through the cooperation and integration of the people within the region where the development will be done. Community Power means, “done by the Community” and “for the Community”. Community power is also family power. And when the people of a local region benefit from the use and integration of the local region’s energy and material resources, that is Community Power. And when it comes to Community Power, smaller is more sustainable.. and well distributed is ideal.

A great example of Community Power is Dardesheim, Germany.
